South Baldwin Chamber Announces 2025 Magnolia Run Beneficiary: Sea Glass Initiative

Magnolia Springs, Ala. — The South Baldwin Chamber is proud to announce Sea Glass Initiative as the selected nonprofit beneficiary of the 2025 Magnolia Run, held on November 8 in Magnolia Springs.
Each year, the Magnolia Run donates a portion of event proceeds to a local nonprofit Chamber member, continuing a tradition of supporting organizations that make a lasting impact in Baldwin County. This year’s contribution supports the mission of Sea Glass Initiative, whose work centers on “Empowering change for the unhoused in Baldwin County.”
Sea Glass Initiative has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to community care through a series of recent outreach efforts. Their Community Resource Fair offered one-stop access to essential services including hot meals, housing resources, showers, educational support, and social services. Through their ongoing Free Hot Meal Program, they provide freshly prepared meals in a welcoming, no-questions-asked environment, helping individuals and families facing food insecurity. Looking ahead, the organization is hosting its annual Gingerbread House of Wishes Holiday Party, collecting toys and grocery gift cards to bring joy to unsheltered children and families during the holiday season.
“The Magnolia Run has always been about more than the miles we cover,” said representatives of the South Baldwin Chamber. “Every runner, walker, volunteer, and supporter helps us uplift a local nonprofit making an immediate difference. Sea Glass Initiative is filling critical needs in our county, and we are honored to support their mission.”
This year’s run brought together hundreds of participants and volunteers for a morning filled with community spirit, fitness, and fun. With a USATF-certified 5K, a 1 Mile Fun Run, vendors, and an energetic finish line celebration, the Magnolia Run continues to grow as a signature fall event for Magnolia Springs and surrounding communities.
Runners, walkers, families, and supporters are encouraged to join us again next fall for the next Magnolia Run. Registration details will be announced in 2026. Everyone is welcome — whether you’re chasing a personal best or enjoying a casual walk under the trees of Magnolia Springs.
