Leadership Series Luncheon Highlights Foley’s Growth and Future with Mayor Ralph Hellmich

Leadership Series DEC 2025

December 16, 2025 | Foley, AL – The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce hosted another impactful Leadership Series luncheon today at the Foley Civic Center, welcoming business leaders, nonprofit partners, and community stakeholders from across South Baldwin. The event featured Mayor Ralph Hellmich of the City of Foley as the guest speaker, who delivered a comprehensive State of the City update outlining Foley’s continued growth, strategic investments, and future priorities. The luncheon was catered by SugarLove.

Presented by Vulcan, Inc., the luncheon provided attendees with insight into Foley’s population growth, infrastructure expansion, and quality-of-life enhancements shaping the city’s future. Mayor Hellmich highlighted recent and ongoing investments in public safety, education, roadway and pedestrian improvements, parks and recreational amenities, and major capital projects, along with upcoming developments planned for 2026 and beyond.

The presentation also underscored Foley’s strong economic performance, including increased local tax revenue, business and lodging sales, and the city’s growing role as a regional destination for visitors, events, and commerce. From downtown revitalization and entertainment districts to healthcare expansion, public facilities, and long-term civic planning, Mayor Hellmich emphasized the city’s commitment to responsible growth and community-focused development.

As part of the South Baldwin Chamber’s ongoing effort to spotlight nonprofit partners, Neighborhood Bridges Baldwin County attended the luncheon to share information about their mission and community impact. Anchor Cross Cancer Foundation was also featured as a nonprofit partner, and attendees were encouraged to learn more about both organizations by visiting their websites to explore the important work they are doing across our community.

As this luncheon concludes the 2025 Leadership Series, the South Baldwin Chamber extends sincere appreciation to Vulcan, Inc. and all Leadership Series sponsors whose investment and partnership made this year’s program possible. Their support plays a vital role in fostering leadership development, civic engagement, and meaningful dialogue among South Baldwin’s business and community leaders.

The South Baldwin Chamber also extends special thanks to Warren Averett, Educational Enrichment sponsor, for their continued support of student participation throughout the Leadership Series, helping ensure future leaders have opportunities to engage in these meaningful conversations.

The South Baldwin Chamber’s Leadership Series continues to serve as an invaluable forum for business leaders, nonprofits, and community stakeholders to connect, learn, and engage with the issues shaping South Baldwin’s future.
