Business After Hours: September 2025 Recap
Hosted by Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center – Summerdale
The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce closed out another memorable Business After Hours in September—this time hosted by our valued members at the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center (BCCAC) in Summerdale. What made this event even more special was the story behind it: originally scheduled for Hunter’s Furniture, a Chamber member since 2019, the business graciously passed along their hosting opportunity to an organization they deeply support—the BCCAC, a dedicated Chamber member since 2010. That thoughtful gesture perfectly reflects the sense of community and generosity that defines our Chamber family.
Guests enjoyed a relaxed and welcoming evening complete with delicious catering from Moe’s Original BBQ – Foley and live entertainment by Just Roger, whose music set the perfect tone for networking and good conversation. The atmosphere was lively yet heartwarming, as attendees mingled, laughed, and built new connections that strengthen our local business community.
The Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center has been providing life-changing services for child victims of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse, along with their supportive, non-offending family members. Through a multidisciplinary team approach, the Center offers these vital services in a comforting, home-like environment where healing and hope can begin.
We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who attended, brought snacks to donate for the children, and helped make this event a success—especially our dedicated Chamber Diplomats, who volunteer their time and energy to make each Business After Hours special. Congratulations to our door prize winners and to our Split the Pot winner! This month, half of the proceeds that typically support the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation were donated to the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center in recognition of the life-changing work they do in our community.
The Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center’s mission reminds us that community connections go beyond business—they’re about caring for one another and working together to make a difference. We encourage everyone to learn more about the BCCAC’s powerful work and consider getting involved through donations, volunteer efforts, or simply spreading awareness.
Thank you to the Baldwin County Child Advocacy Center, our Chamber Diplomats, and all of our members who came out to connect, give back, and support one another. Each Business After Hours event continues to showcase what makes South Baldwin such a strong and compassionate business community—we can’t wait to see you at the next one!
