Local leaders and South Baldwin Chamber celebrate the church's official grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

FOLEY, AL — The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, alongside local community leaders, joined staff and congregation members on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, to celebrate the official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for Daystar Church’s new Foley campus, located at 21170 Brinks Willis Road.

After securing the facility for its new campus, Daystar Church completed several upgrades throughout the building to create a warm, modern, and welcoming space for individuals and families in South Baldwin County. The transformed campus includes dedicated environments for children and youth, comfortable gathering spaces, and a main sanctuary designed for uplifting Sunday services, held weekly at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM.

Beyond Sunday services, Daystar Church is actively putting its mission into action through a dedicated community outreach effort called "Daystar Days." Held once a month, church members and volunteers gather to complete hands on service projects across the region. Whether partnering with local nonprofits, supporting schools, or assisting neighbors in need, these service days offer a tangible way for the church to give back and foster meaningful connections across South Baldwin County.

During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Foley Campus Pastor Cody Betzhold expressed his excitement about establishing deep roots in Foley, sharing the church’s heart for hospitality, and serving neighbors both inside and outside the church walls.

Foley City Councilman Tim Lower spoke on behalf of the city, offering a warm welcome and thanking Daystar Church for its investment in the Foley community and dedication to supporting local families.

The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to welcome Daystar Church to Foley. Their commitment to building strong community connections and creating a welcoming space for families makes them a fantastic addition to South Baldwin County.
