Thirty volunteers. Thirty buckets. One Halloween morning well spent!

Pensacola Beach, FL – October 31, 2026 – Halloween morning brought more than costumes and candy to Pensacola Beach this year. On October 31, Eco Clean Marine brought together 30 dedicated volunteers for a community trash pickup at Flounder's Chowder House, turning part of their Halloween morning into an opportunity to give back to the environment.

In just 1.5 hours, volunteers collected an impressive 30 five-gallon buckets of trash, proving that a little community spirit can go a long way toward making a difference.

A Different Kind of Halloween Treat

While many were preparing for Halloween festivities, these volunteers chose to spend their morning helping keep Pensacola Beach beautiful. Armed with gloves, grabbers, and buckets, they worked together to remove litter and help prevent waste from reaching nearby waterways and the Gulf.

Thirty volunteers and thirty buckets later, the results spoke for themselves. Every bucket collected represented another step toward cleaner beaches and healthier coastal environments.

Community Spirit Makes the Difference

Courtney Dombroski, Founder and CEO of Eco Clean Marine, said, "It's always inspiring to see people come together and give their time to protect our environment. Having 30 volunteers join us on Halloween morning made this cleanup especially meaningful. Every person who shows up and every bucket of trash collected helps move us closer to cleaner, healthier communities."

Eco Clean Marine is grateful to everyone who participated. A special thank-you goes to the University of West Florida Argonauts Softball Team and their coaches for bringing their teamwork and community spirit to the cleanup. Their participation showed that being a great team extends well beyond the softball field.

We also extend our appreciation to Perry Doggrell for generously donating his time and photography talents to capture the morning's efforts. His support helps share the story of the people making a difference in our communities.

More Than Just a Cleanup

Events like this are about more than collecting trash. They bring people together, encourage environmental responsibility, and remind us that protecting our coastlines is something we can all take part in. Whether it's volunteering for an hour, picking up litter during a walk, or encouraging others to get involved, every action counts.

Eco Clean Marine looks forward to continuing its work with volunteers and community partners to protect the Gulf Coast and create cleaner, healthier environments for future generations.
