For the past 40 years, Frank Harkins has been working in South Alabama to change the lives of people with significant disabilities, first as CEO of Easterseals, then as the President/CEO of Goodwill Easterseals of the Gulf Coast.  Annually, GES serves over 10,000 people with supports such as job skills training, education (early childhood and adult education), and services to those with disabilities.  Frank currently leads a team of 600 employees along the Gulf Coast, 41% of whom have a disability themselves.  Frank embodies the mission of Goodwill Easterseals:  Working together, we empower people through Encouragement, Education and Employment, making the lives of over 10,000 people BETTER, every day.  

Darrelyn Dunmore is the executive director of Main Street Foley, focusing on economic and community development. Main Street Alabama aims to revitalize historic communities by attracting jobs, investments, and people. Darrelyn collaborates with local businesses, the City of Foley, the board of directors, and volunteers to foster growth in Foley's historic downtown district. Certified as a Historic Real Estate Financial Professional in 2020, she previously worked in wealth management and business exit planning. She served as president/CEO of the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce for eighteen years, where she established the Eastern Shore Foundation for workforce and leadership development. Darrelyn has represented the Eastern Shore and Baldwin County on various boards and served as Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama. Learn more here

We typically meet at Noon on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, at an area restaurant. Check our Facebook page, Foley Alabama Lions Club, to see where current meetings are being held. Please note that we are the hosts for the annual "Le Tour De Foley" bicycle ride in the Fall. It's the main fundraiser for our club.

NAMI Baldwin is the local affiliate of the largest grassroots organization in the US fighting for families and their loved ones living with a mental health condition.

Founded in the late 70’s by two mothers who had sons with schizophrenia we offer education, support and advocacy for better mental health laws and treatment.

Please help us spread the word so that together we cann break the stigma surrounding mental illness and help everyone live a healthy productive life!

Founder and Pastor of Calvary Chapel Fellowship of Foley - 2009 to the present
As a local Pastor in the Baldwin County Area since 2009 I have been working with the youth of this community through the local Church’s, Schools , Community's, Juvenile Justice, DHR, Youth Advocate Program, and outreach events to try and make a difference with our young people in our community . Since 2018 the Lord has laid on my heart a center were the youth of our community and families can come to get the help and resources they need to succeed in life and be able to break the cycle of abandonment, abuse, drugs and alcohol they are facing. A place were students can get the extra help they need to do better in school, apply for Jobs, apply for colleges, apply for scholarships and FAFSA for college. A place where dreams do come true, through hard work and effort.
 

The Corporal Joseph Whitehead Marine Corps League Detachment is a local veteran group designated to assist in matters which are relevant to active duty personnel, retirees and veterans of all of the branches of service within the southern portion of Baldwin County, Alabama.

A young entrepreneur that is passionate about life and trying to make a difference in her community

Charlotte Bouzigard has had a diverse career in marketing, advertising, media, branding, broadcasting, and promotions. She has worked for major companies including the New Orleans Hornets NBA team, the FOX News affiliate in New Orleans, AT&T Wireless, Comcast Cable, and a media ministry with a website akin to a "Christian YouTube." Currently, she is with Power 88 and Goforth Media, where she assists businesses with their marketing strategies while spreading the Gospel through music and daily inspirational features. One of her favorite scriptures is Habakkuk 2:14, which reflects her mission to share the knowledge and glory of the Lord with the world.
