Description

A.L.I.C.E. stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed, people who are working hard but still can't quite make ends meet. They earn too much to qualify for most assistance, but not enough to cover basics like housing, food, child care, health care, and transportation. 

Right now, 29% of Baldwin County households are in this situation. Nearly one in three citizens in the county. We'll be sharing the latest ALICE data for Baldwin County, and we think it's exactly the kind of on-the-ground picture that can help shape smart decisions around local policy, workforce development, housing, and community services.
