While the traditional holiday season may still be months away, Foley Main Street is proving it’s never too early for a little festive cheer. On Thursday, July 16th, Downtown Foley will be open for a special “Christmas in July” Third Thursday event. 

As shoppers increasingly look to get a head start on their holiday lists, Foley Main Street is leaning into the trend by turning its monthly Third Thursday into a great opportunity to get started early. This July celebration marks the beginning of a new tradition for the downtown district, Christmas in July. 

“We all know people are starting their Christmas shopping earlier and earlier, so we thought, why not July?” said Darrelyn Dunmore, Executive Director of Foley Main Street. “We’re inviting everyone to celebrate the season with a summer twist—think tropical vibes, cool drinks, and a very special guest from the North Pole. We want to give people a reason to explore our beautiful downtown, support our local shops, and have a little mid-summer fun without the stress of the actual holiday rush.”
