FOLEY, Ala. — The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce gathered with members and local professionals for a lively August Business After Hours hosted by Trustmark Bank of Foley. With a great turnout and plenty of conversation throughout the evening, the event offered exactly what Business After Hours is all about—bringing people together, making new contacts, and strengthening relationships within our local business community.

Guests were treated to a delicious spread from Georgia Roussos Catering, while Bottles Up Mobile kept the drinks flowing. The welcoming atmosphere gave members plenty of time to mix, mingle, enjoy great food and drinks, and connect with fellow professionals from across South Baldwin.

Trustmark had a strong presence at the event, with more than a dozen members of its team on hand to welcome guests. BJ Griswold, First Vice President | Market Leader | Coastal AL - MS, introduced members of the Trustmark team and highlighted the bank's local resources, including small business banking, mortgage lending, and its Baldwin County branch team. She also expressed appreciation for Trustmark's partnership with the Chamber and thanked everyone for joining them for the evening.

Business After Hours is designed to take networking outside the traditional workday and create a comfortable setting where Chamber members can make meaningful connections. Whether it's meeting a potential customer, learning about another member's services, reconnecting with a familiar face, or simply getting to know the people behind local businesses, these monthly gatherings help build relationships that strengthen both our businesses and our community.

There was plenty of fun mixed in, too! Guests had opportunities to take home a variety of door prizes, including Visa gift cards and more, along with participating in the Chamber's popular Split-the-Pot drawing. Congratulations to Carl Jones, this month's winner, who generously donated his winnings back to the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation. We sincerely appreciate his generosity! Split-the-Pot proceeds benefit the Foundation's educational enrichment efforts serving 14 local schools in the Foley High and Elberta High School feeder pattern.
