We responded to a condo unit for a leaking ice maker and uncovered a thick layer of black biological growth blocking the ice gate and stopping it from working altogether. After a deep clean and some TLC its back to sparkling and performing like new!

This coil froze over because it was severely dirty and hadn't received any preventative or routine maintenance. Once we defrosted it, the problem was clear: dirt and debris were choking the system, blocking the airflow, and causing it to freeze up.
