The Solid Waste Disposal Authority of Baldwin County (SWDA) will waive its usual battery disposal fees at participating CHaRM locations: Orange Beach CHaRM at 22510 Russian Rd. Fairhope CHaRM at 20609 Bishop Rd. The fee waiver is available only at participating CHaRMs and does not apply at SWDA landfills. To avoid additional fees\, please remove batteries from their devices. Visit https://batterysafetynow.org to learn more about the national effort. Help keep batteries out of household trash and recycling bins and give them a safe place to go!
